.NET and Vista?

A very thorough analysis that might raise a flag in your mind. I just wrote a long long post as i had some ideas, but while copying/pasting stuff i lost my whole three paragraphs.

Are we really multitasking on these pathetic multi-tasking OSs. Yeah, yeah i know it needs some sense as well, but why really are you looking at this text on a machine that can process x.xx GZ information in one second. Art of making usable machines is very noble, but i guess if it is given in hands of some jerks then i shouldn't really blame anyone. People talk about living in 21st century only if they have a sexy-UI, i guess there are very small and important issues to solve first on UI-centric systems if you really think 'I rock when i use UI' or 'I want to take off my clothes if i have a nice UI infront of me' . I apologize if someone is offended i really didn't mean to offend anyone, but i just feel better now :-)

It seems like UI-centricism was brought forward by Apple and later ofcourse copied by Micro$oft... So whatever that it ... one still feels more controlled with a black terminal screen than fighting with all the icons and mouse clicks since someone thought we might find them good... No points for guessing I am installing Linux Gentoo and it will take sometime before I am able to get the xWindows up and running.... Zahid Irfan
