Google lost the bid of FCC 700MHz auction
Google lost FCC bid of buying a spectrum of wireless C-block band. Google officials are not allowed. After conquering web world, Google now targeting wireless world and willing to push its efforts for wireless apps on mobile like devices which are used more than a computer. Google also has been trying to promote it's open source wireless phones so it seems that Google is pretty much serious to invade wirless world. Guys on Slashdot says that it will not make a difference for Google since it can achieve same task by using SPRINT.
