Capability Maturity Model - Part 2

My earlier post about CMM had material that was extracted from Stephen R. Schach’s Object Oriented and Classical Software Engineering book. I am thankful to all the comments, this post is in effort to answer the questions asked.

PSP, TSP, CMM and CMMI models are proposed by Software Engineering Institute (SEI) at Carnegie Mellon University. One reader was curious, who awards or declare the CMM/CMMI level for the software house. There is a SEI Appraiser board which has made a formal appraisal method for the SEI authorized SCAMPI (Standard CMMI Appraisal Method for Process Improvement) lead appraisers who further hire contractors to evaluate and award these appraisals.

Khurram,

Please help me! my blog on your server is being spammed by ads bots who keep posting crap links in comments.

I tried turning the comments off from the Admin mode but that is not working. Can you please install an IP-ban sort of add-on where I can ban certain IP addresses from posting? or help me disable comments from my blog?

I would really appreciate your help.

Faraz
