Earthquake :: Kashmir Ki Beti

It’s getting harder and harder to drive in Lahore. I remember when I first moved to Lahore; Main Boulevard was full of trees; in evenings; one could enjoy the walk on road side. But traffic is increasing by leaps and bounds. Today on our drive to hospital; my wife disclosed some interesting facts about the specialist doctors going to northern areas to serve those poor souls.

There is some, Kashmir Ki Beti who is minister and lives in Lahore these days. She arranged a political tour to the earthquake affected area. She gathered some stuff from those different NGOs working hard; pushed that government hospital's MS to arrange couple of doctors (its completely non-sense to take gynecologists to those areas at first place). The doctors had to rush to her place few weeks back; they had to wait whole day; because Kashmir Ki Beti was doing some political activities. Almost at mid night they started their journey; reached Islamabad at Sehri time; and from their they went to one of the affected area in Kashmir; where her Beti met some local policians; distributed the stuff; and with each distribution they get themselves snapped. They visited local hospitals; where those specialists’ gynecologists inject couple of injections; snaps were taken. And in next morning; they all came back.

Complete waste of resources </smile> just because that lady wanted to show the press that she is Kashmir Ki Beti

No worries. Allah is watching. He is the ultimate authority. Can they run away from Him? Can they hide in their big houses? Can they fly high?

This is just horrible...So now our politicians are again churning out the reasons and activities which caused the earthquake. One simply can't believe that people are so motivated to bring their selfishness on top of people's live. We could have used those *mis-used* resources for earthquake-affected as well. May Allah show us all the right path and direction. Amen.
