IBuySpy v2 :: Where Is It?

Has anyone checked the ASP.NET v2 starter kits? All of them have poor architectures. I feel that they are promoting the 2 tier development model; the VB/SQL days….

I have checked Personal Web Site, Club Web Site and Time Tracker Starter Kits, and all of them smells same; couple of ASCX hosted in an ASPX page (master page) one or more controller class; that returns a generic IList of objects which a class that’s handling the database access is populating.

DotNetNuke is exploded; its so over-architected that its totally a waste of time. I don’t think they will be able to update their code soon to ASP.NET v2 (in a sense that v2 features are fully utilized)

Sharepoint; no comments; I love it; I hate it...an urdu saying fits well for it; its like a marriage; those who do it; suffer; and those who dont; also suffer

Desperately looking forward for IBuySpy v2; any clues will there be any? Know any good portal framework; designed for ASP.NET v2?

I hate all the 2.0 starter kits.
Why not we start a framework for 2.0 web apps?
I realy want to apply 2.0's cool feature to somewhere. My employer didnt allow me to use 2.0 so i was considering to write a starter kit sort application. If anybody interested please let me know, you will be more than welcome.
