Some Random Wishes

  • I wish that while browsing I can setup a session where all my browsed data is kept; that I can easily share and transport across different machines (home pc; office pc) and search.
    • Google Desktop Search; and Yahoo toolbar (with its new My Web option) does most of it; but still there are some missing corners
  • I wish that bookmarking/storing those contents; the service starts monitoring those pages; and generate a RSS feed that I subscribe; and get notified when any of those pages change.
  • I wish that in standard Windows Open/Save dialog; there is an option to add custom locations
    • One can simulate it by adding folder shortcuts into those pre-set folders like My Documents; but its tedious
  • I wish to have Outlook, Explorer and Remote Desktop add-ins for Visual Studio
    • I am doing full time development along with technical manager ship and some time system administrations; running Outlook and Visual Studio side by side is cumbersome, and things get worst when there are couple of remote desktop sessions running
