Tidbits and PSK2 Updates

Do you like boiled eggs? Well I enjoyed couple of them tonight at bus stop while waiting for my wife…”Garam Aandey” </smile>

She is doing duties these days in new-born nursery ward. She told me that they use ventilator, a machine to assist respiration of new-borns, as the last resort while resuscitations. The chances of surviving from this stage are very low. Unfortunately they only have one ventilator; and some times when two or more new-borns become serious; they have to choose one, the one they think will survive. I guess making such decisions must be hard.

Regarding PSK2, I gave couple of more hours to this endeavor. I have implemented ASP.NETv2 Membership and Master Pages. Work is under two different source-code-control branches; that I will merge sometime tomorrow (if I get some time). I am using the new SQL Express’ user instance mount-able databases. I will have two databases; one for Portal itself and the other for membership. Is this fine? Should I merge these two?

I might be doing some work to write a membership provider so that Portal users can be used. I have couple of sites around in which I have used PSK1 and I might need this provider when we will upgrade them to ASPNET2

The two branches are merged intro the trunk (main development) branch; you may browse/download the code (Membership + Masterpages) from http://sharpcoders.net:8000/psk2/trunk
